We are glad to greet you on the web-site of Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University. RAU is an outstanding educational institution that trains high-level specialists, capable of applying their skills and knowledge in any part of the world and making their country a distinguished bridge between the West and the East. Every educational system has its advantages, the rational use of which gives young people freedom of choice. And the wider the choice is – the richer the nation is.
In our educational programs, we try to combine the most distinguished and valuable practices that have been achieved by the universities of Armenia, Russia and Western countries. Over twenty agreements and cooperation programs with the leading Universities and Institutes of Russia and Europe give us the opportunity to constantly take part in the development of science and education, to create and implement joint educational and scientific programs.
In the aim of providing the best quality of education, RAU has acquired the latest computer technologies and I am proud to say that Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University has the best computer equipment among all other universities in Armenia.
We are working under Russian educational standards. But at the same time, RAU freshmen and sophomores acquire a thorough knowledge of Armenian. Juniors and seniors have the opportunity to gain professional knowledge in Russian and in foreign languages.
We have agreements, executed with a range of foreign universities – Tallin University, Moscow State University, Moscow State Institute of International Relations and many more.
The overriding goal of the whole educational process is to provide RAU graduates with the requisite qualities, so they could work both in Armenia and Russia, as well as in any other country of the world. RAU graduates receive Armenian and Russian state diplomas. RAU continues to grow and innovate. It aspires to be the University of the Future.
